Founder of Reach Occupational Therapy
Brittany has extensive experience in evaluating and implementing interventions for children's self-care, feeding and eating, fine motor/visual motor, and sensory processing skills. She has substantial experience collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams and families in order to provide child-specific recommendations. Brittany has attended and presented various courses and workshops on child development, feeding and eating, sensory integration, play skills, social skills, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental and physical disabilities. Specifically, she is trained in the S.O.S Approach to Feeding, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, and The Zones of Regulation. She also obtained her DIRFloortime® Basic Certificate and is now a Basic DIRFloortime® provider, consulting with therapists and families on the DIRFloortime® relationship-based approach in working with children.
Since beginning her OT career, Brittany has become passionate about advocating for children with limited access to physical and mental health services. Her dream one day is to develop a program for providing pro bono OT services to children who have limited access to the health care system. Additionally, as a life-long dancer, she aspires to combine her love for dance with her love for OT in developing a dance program for children with disabilities.
